The calculator can be powered by old laptop rechargeable lithium batteries, alkaline batteries, and even Ni-Cd rechargeable batteries. Depending on the voltage used by your calculator, you can hook it up to a lithium battery and a 50 to 500-ohm resistor. I recommend you get two buttons battery-powered calculator that uses 3.0 volts of electrical potential as it will closely match the 3.7 lithium battery. If you have one button battery calculator then you will need one 1.5v alkaline battery or Ni-Cd battery.
