We saw a partial solar eclipse as we headed back to Canada from Ann Arbor Michigan, USA. I was able to photograph and film the solar eclipse with my Sony a6500 with Sony-Zeiss 55mm F1.8 lens using the following settings (with laser goggles in front of the lens):
* ISO 100
* Shutter Speed 1/1000 to 1/2000
* F22
