Today I will be showing you how to take an old Li-ion laptop battery and convert it into a reusable rechargeable Li-ion battery for the cellphone or even smartphone. Since each Li-ion battery is about 3.5 to 4 volts (there are 6 cells in the 19.1V laptop battery), we can use the old cellphone Li-ion charger to charge the battery. Make sure you monitor the charging process. Do not leave the charging battery unattended. This is an experimental device so please take all necessary safety precautions. Thanks and enjoy the video!
