How to program HTML (Lesson #3)

Lesson 3 of HTML!

In this particular lesson we will learn how to make a link. Without a link,
the good old web would not exist!

Here is an example:

<a href=”http://google.com”>Google</a>

The a element is telling them it is a link. The href attribute is linking that website/webpage together
and where is says google that is what the link will say. The “Google” says what you want it to
say in the link.

Google

The link can be placed anywhere in the body tag. When you want to make your
website more fancy like a link with no underlines, you would have to use CSS, CSS2,
or CSS3 and CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets. It makes your website alot more attracting
then with basic HTML but we will learn that probaly in like lesson 10 of HTML.

I hope you learned how to make a link! Now, you can click on the links.
